With over 20 years of high-level management positions in major multi national corporations she brings the distinct understanding and practical dealings with cultures from many countries around the globe, corporate business savvy and an extensive network on both sides of the Atlantic.

Markus A. Launer, Ph.D.

Markus Launer is managing partner and founder of Transatlantic Investor Relations LLC, consulting European corporations in IR, PR, Public Affairs and Real Estate.

He started his professional corporate career within the Hoechst Group and its subsidiary SGL Carbon. In 1999 he founded his own company as investor relations consultant and interims manager in Germany and USA. Amongst his clients are SGL Carbon, iXOS, Philipp Holzmann, Media! and Altana in New York. In 2004 he merged his activities with partners into the legal entity TransatlanticIR.

Markus earned a degree as Diplom Kaufmann of the University Mannheim and has a Ph.D. from the Tallinn University of Technology. He is also teaches at the Fachhochschule Braunschweig.




Karsten Martens After studying business economics in Hamburg, Germany Karsten started his career in international marketing positions in Germany, the USA and the UK with Cadbury Schweppes, where he managed challenging franchise relationships with bottlers in different cultures from Turkey, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Malta and the Canary Islands.

Karsten's joined Montblanc, the luxury brand, as Marketing Director in Paris to evaluate the business and to re-position the brand in France. Three years later Karsten took on the assignment as President & CEO Montblanc North America, Montblanc's biggest market.

Following Montblanc Karsten set up a new subsidiary for Porsche in New York as President & CEO: Porsche Design of America. This included integrating an existing entity and structure taken over from the former owner as well as setting up a new company structure and hiring and developing a management team.

Currently Karsten establishes 'Coverdale', an international consulting / coaching company in the US.
